1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Councily.app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Councily.app is a multi-agent AI conversation platform. Users can assemble "councils" of AI agents and engage them in conversation or structured debate, getting multiple perspectives on any question or problem simultaneously.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You may not share your account with others.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. API Keys (BYOK)

  • If you provide your own API keys, you are solely responsible for their security and usage.
  • You agree to comply with the terms of service of the respective AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, etc.).
  • We encrypt and protect your keys, but you bear responsibility for any costs incurred through their use on our platform.

5. Subscription and Billing

  • Subscription plans are billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Credits (tokens) are allocated monthly and do not roll over to the next billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Councily.app to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive
  • Attempt to circumvent AI provider safety measures
  • Resell or sublicense access to the service
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our systems or data
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Interfere with the service or other users' access to it

7. Intellectual Property

  • Your conversation content belongs to you.
  • The Councily.app platform, brand, and codebase are our intellectual property.
  • We do not claim ownership of content you generate through the service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that AI responses are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. AI outputs should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Councily.app is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
